The association, founded in 2013, has set itself the following goals:

• Establish the occupational profile of "senior citizen assistance" in society.

• Increase awareness of the quality of care offered by senior assistants through the BdSAD.

• Preservation, maintenance and development of the reputation of this profession

• Consulting and competence network to answer questions and help in the practice of the profession

• Quality assurance through an outstanding, unique education and training program

• Definition and perception of the professional interests of the members

• Promotion of the exchange of opinions and experiences of members

• Participation in legislative projects that affect or influence the work of members
